The pressure gauge has a thread to connect to test points (like on backflow prevention devices), and it has an adapter attached to connect it to a hose bib. It took a lot of force to unscrew the adapter. I stripped the adapter. It seems like it was glued in. I used PTFE tape to re-attach it. I took it apart. The air is free. ANyways who uses the old style tire pressure gauges. You can get an accurate digital one from crappy tire on sale for 5 bucks.
